Tammy used a reference by Karina Birke to paint this rooster. She also referred to Jean Haines' book Atmospheric Watercolors. I feel this is not a "copy" of Jean's rooster so I don't feel as if I'm breaking any copyright by attempting to sell it. If Jean happens to see it, and feels otherwise. . . I will remove it. (A strong point. . . she doesn't use masking fluid, and I did. Other points: different reference, different colors, more details, different placement of feathers and salt, etc.)
Tammy started painting in 2010. She is both self-taught and learned from ArtTutor.com, an online learning sight. Learning and experimenting with colors is what she enjoys. Tammy likes painting with bright, vivid colors. Wildlife & nature, the mountains & forests of Montana, and flowers are her favorite subjects. She was a contributor in 2020 for the alcohol ink art society. The mediums she uses currently are watercolor and pastels.
